Pastor Joey Macias was raised
in Manteca, Ca. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1991 after the death of
his brother.
Pastor Joey received his
degree in theology in 1995 from Trinity Life Bible College in Sacramento. He
directed Masters Commission discipleship program for eight years traveling
the United States preaching and speaking at churches and high school
assemblies.
He became a staff pastor at
(CWC) Christian Worship Center in 1994 in Manteca, CA, serving full time for 22
years. He served as the Youth Pastor for The Lift youth and young adult
ministry for eight years. He directed Paragon adult discipleship academy
for three years. During his pastorate he produced and directed several dramatic
productions leading thousands to salvation, many of which continue to be used
today. He served on the executive 5-fold team as the church evangelist. Pastor
Joey also served as the Chaplain for the Manteca Police Department for five
For the past eight years Pastor
Joey has been on the Pastoral staff at The House Modesto under the leadership
of Pastor Glen Berteau. He began as Recruiter for Southeastern University
NorCal. When the House Downtown was opened, he became Pastor for that campus. Currently
he is the Campus Pastor for The House Modesto under Pastor Micah Berteau.
He is married to his
beautiful wife, Valine Macias, with five amazing children, Joseph Jr., Jenae, Victoria,
Janelle, and Demetrious. He is blessed to be called grandpa by his
granddaughter Kinsley.
