Our hearts are burdened for those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles County. Many have lost everything, been evacuated, and are broken-hearted. This is a devastating situation, however we believe the comfort of God's presence and the response of God's people can make a tremendous difference. Psalm 34:18 says that God is close to the broken-hearted, and we want to be close to those who are hurting during this time as well.

We say Door Holders instead of volunteers because volunteers can sound like people who randomly sign up and hopefully show up, while Door Holders take ownership and take great pleasure in opening a way for others to see and experience Jesus. Door Holders are the very heartbeat of our House here at Northeast!
