Every Sunday, ages 0-5th grade kids experience fun, safe, and engaging environments where the Bible is taught in an exciting and relevant way.
We would love for you and your family to visit NE Kids this Sunday. Join the fun, and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
Northeast is a church where lives are forever changed by the power of God through Jesus Christ, Christians are brought to spiritual maturity through relevant discipleship and we are impacting our community and the world through missions and evangelism! That includes NE Kids! We place a high priority on making sure your kids have an awesome experience each worship service. Not only will they be safe and secure, NE Kids uses age-appropriate teaching styles to point your kids to Jesus. Your kids will be begging to come back.
We also believe that Sundays are just one part of your child’s faith training, so we partner with parents to help you be the primary faith trainer. We come alongside you to equip you with tools like take home family challenges that you can use to discuss the Bible with your kids. We have resources such as these take home challenges, life groups, and family experiences to help you through life as a parent.
From the moment you pull in the parking lot, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way.
Your First Stop when you arrive is the NE Kids Check-in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll hand you an NE Kids info paper, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.
Then you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service.
Next you will be asked to provide us with a cell phone number in the event that we need to contact you during the service. (Remember to leave your cell phone on vibrate/silence during the service.) If your child cries, our caring volunteers will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of ten minutes, we will text you to request that you come to your child’s NE Kids room. If any other reason we need to reach you during the service, you will receive a text on your phone asking you to come to the NE Kids Check-in area.
Lastly you and your child will receive a check-in tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag. Simply hand the pick-up tag to your child’s NE Kids Team Leader on your way out!
WHAT SHOULD MY KIDS WEAR?
Play clothes are always welcome! NE Kids is a fun, active environment. Your kids will be playing, singing, and dancing as they learn about Jesus in small groups and large groups.
INTERESTED IN TOURING NE KIDS?
We’d love to have your family visit NE Kids during the week! If you’re interested in a weekday tour or have any additional questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage parents to keep the conversation going on the car ride home. Ask your child these two questions:
– Did you have fun?
– What did you learn?
Our goal is to have a positive answer to both of those questions each week. Want to get more involved in what your child is learning? Follow NE Kids on Instagram @ne_kids to keep up with each week’s key takeaway and Bible story.
Prayer is the most powerful force in the world! We want your kids to know they can pray! We help do this by bringing Bible stories to life through activities and conversations that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s Word and understand its value in their lives and this starts with prayer.
We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a life group of familiar faces where relationships can grow and their relationship with Jesus is challenged and nurtured.
Everything from our environments, to the language we use in our lessons, to our life group materials, are created with your child’s age and stage in mind. This is so we can help reach out in the community around us to let you know your kids have a place to go to learn about Jesus!
We take several steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check. Our whole team — from staff members to life group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.
Kids love fun! Who doesn’t?! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.
