• Mike Robertson

    Transitional Pastor

    Mike Robertson earned his bachelor's degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological. He pursued his doctoral studies at Fuller Theological Seminary.


    Mike is married to Karen. The Robertsons were pastors of Praise Temple in Burleson, Texas for five years. It was there in 1991, that they received the “God Nudge” to go to Southern California. They planted a church in Oceanside and were pastor there for 15 years.


    Mike then became the Vice President of University Advancement at Southwestern Assemblies of University in Waxahachie, Texas. Karen became the campus pastor in charge of all the worship.


    In 2008, Mike and Karen became lead pastors of Visalia First in Visalia, CA.

    and led that church for 14 years. The Robertsons transitioned from being lead pastors to being the global pastors.


    Mike is currently writing his Ninth book and Karen has produced three worship CD’s.

  • SARAI FERRER

    WORSHIP LEADER

    Sarai joined our Northeast team in March of 2018 and serves as our Worship Leader and Receptionist. She was born and raised in Kansas where she received her calling to join the worship ministry at the age of 15. There she met her husband while he was stationed in the air force. Having served together in different worship capacities at their church, they married in 2017 and moved to California. Sarai brings the richness and power of her voice and enjoys sharing her passion for worshipping God to others. Shortly after being hired onto our NE Team, they had their beautiful daughter, Zemira who is full of joy and loves to play. Joey & Sarai are grateful for the opportunity to lead and to see our church grow in supporting the vision Pastor Jim has been given for Northeast!

  • JOEY FERRER JR.

    MUSIC AND TECH DIRECTOR

    Joey joined our Northeast team in April of 2018 and serves as our Worship and Tech Director. He joined his first worship team at the young age of 12 and decided to pursue music as his passion. Upon graduating Washington Union High School in Fresno, Joey quickly left to the Air Force where he would serve our Nation for 4 years and was stationed in Wichita, Kansas. There, he met his wife, Sarai, and they married in 2017 and have a beautiful daughter, Zemira. One of Joey’s passions is teaching others how to play instruments and use their talents to serve others.

  • amber August

    Executive Assistant

    Amber joined our Northeast team in March of 2017 and currently serves as Executive Assistant, Graphic Designer, Events Coordinator, and Accountant. Having grown up in a pastor’s home, she has served in many ministry areas over the years. Amber's heart for God's church has helped her grow in servicing her church. She also brings a fresh set of eyes as she serves as our graphic designer along with many other duties. Amber desires to show Jesus through all that she does in life and loves making people laugh along the way. Amber is happily married to Brice August since April of 2021, they are expecting their first born in October of 2023 and have a handsome Golden Retriever named Duke. They are excited for not only what God has for their family, but also their church.
